Albert Lea was too strong again.

Post 56, which blanked Waseca 4-0 early in the season on an Adam Hamberg no-hitter at Hayek Field, traveled north Monday night and won 6-0 as Isaac Walton pitched a two-hitter at Tink Larson Field.

&uot;We just played good baseball,&uot; said coach Dell Dooley. &uot;We didn’t make any errors, and we took advantage of their errors.&uot;

The story of the game was Walton and errors. Waseca had four more errors than hits as Walton was in control all evening, striking out 10 while walking two.

&uot;He’s back in the groove,&uot; said Dooley of his southpaw. &uot;He had a couple games where he struggled and didn’t do too well. It was great to see him back tonight. He threw well.&uot;

He also had a 3-0 lead before he threw a pitch.

David Dahl led off the game with a single and, after Hamberg reached on an error, Adam Highum and Jay Link hit back-to-back RBI singles. Highum scored when Isaiah Parry hit into an error.

The visitors added two in the second. Al Attig was safe on an error and stole second, scoring on a single by Dahl, who came home on a base hit by Walton.

In the third, Parry reached on an error and scored on another single by Dahl.

Dahl went 3-for-4. Walton, Hamberg, Highum, Link and Attig had one hit apiece.

Post 56, 9-11, faces Austin at 6:30 tonight at Hayek Field.
