The Alden-Conger girls’ basketball team overcame a first half deficit to beat Madelia 50-42 in the Valley Conference Showcase Tuesday in Madelia.

Katie Hallman led the Knights (8-12, 4-8 Valley) with 22 points and Ariel Keller added 16 as 10th-seeded Alden-Conger got past 11th-seeded Madelia.

The Knights place Saturday in Alden against ninth-seeded LeCenter at noon.
