Rescue personnel inspect a pickup that rolled over Friday on westbound I-90, just east of Alden. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, driver John Glen Richardson, 30, of Marshall, was found dead at the scene. After losing control on the icy road, the truck went into the north ditch. Richardson, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the truck and then crushed by the vehicle. The State Patrol was extremely busy with numerous accidents and rollovers Friday, and reported two other fatal accidents in southern Minnesota – one south of Winona on Hwy. 61 and one north of Pine Island on Hwy. 52.
