A Carlos, Minn. man faces six charges of criminal sexual conduct involving two Freeborn County girls.
Jeffrey Allen Daker, 30, faces six counts, two of first-degree criminal sexual conduct involving one preteen girl under age 13, and four counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct involving both that girl, and one other girl under the age of 16.
The alleged sexual contact occurred between July 1 and Oct. 30, according to the criminal complaint.
On Monday, Daker requested an evidence hearing, which was set for Jan. 10 at 1:30. He earlier posted $10,000 bail and was released.
The first-degree charge involves alleged sexual penetration, and is based upon the victim’s age, an age difference of more than 36 months between Daker and the victim, and the suspect being in a position of authority over her, according to Freeborn County Attorney Craig Nelson.
The second-degree charges involve sexual contact with both girls.
If convicted, Daker could face 86 months in prison.
