Weekend Planner: Toy and collectible show again comes to Albert Lea

The Tiger City Farm Toy, Truck and Collectible Show comes again to the Northbridge Mall. The show is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
The show will be dedicated to the memory of Don Gross, and many vendor tables will display all kinds of toys and collectibles. People are invited to buy, sell, trade or just browse through collections and items for sale.
Pieces for sale include sports cards, coins, collectibles, cast-iron toys, Hot Wheels, toy tractor parts, dolls, pedal toys, antiques, trains, literature, toy horses and more.
Friday
• Students from Sibley Elementary School and Southwest Middle School will present “Jack and the Beanstalk” with Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre at 7:30 p.m. at Southwest’s Little Theatre. Cost is $5 for adults and $2 for students.
Saturday
• A Women’s Health Care Symposium will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon at Wedgewood Cove Golf Club. Speakers include Frankie Winegardner, Sandra Birchem and Sumit Bhagra. Call 379-2046 to reserve your space.
• The Tiger City Farm Toy, Truck and Collectible Show will be at the Northbridge Mall from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• The Full Draw Archery Club will host a 3-D Tournament from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Knutson Building in Albert Lea.
• The Albert Lea Hockey Association will host a burger basket fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Moose Club in Albert Lea.
• Central Freeborn Lutheran Church will host the F.R.O.G. Valentine’s Day party from 6 to 9 p.m. at the church’s fellowship hall. At 6 p.m. there will be pop, pizza and fellowship, then Norwegian bingo and prizes at 7 p.m. At 8 p.m. there will be an ice cream social and making Valentine’s cards for shut-ins. At 9 p.m. there will be a drawing for door prizes. Cost is $5 per person, and an item for the White Elephant game. Call 373-8655 or 826-3267 to RSVP.
Sunday
• Pack 11 of the Cub Scouts will host a breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon at the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Alden. Donations will be accepted.
• The Tiger City Farm Toy, Truck and Collectible Show continues at Northbridge Mall from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• The Full Draw Archery Club will host a pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the American Legion in Albert Lea. Cost is $7, and children age 6 and under are free. The club’s 3-D Tournament continues from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Knutson Building in Albert Lea.
