Funeral services for Jane Edith Rousey, 63, of Lake Wales, Fla., will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Lutheran Church in Glenville. The Rev. Krista Stokke will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Jane died Saturday, March 6, 2010, at her home.
Jane Edith Rousey was born April 11, 1946, to Royal Hilbert and Dorothy Evelyn (Westfall) Baseman in Wausau, Wis. Jane grew up in Glenville and attended Glenville High School. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Glenville. On May 5, 1987, Jane was united in marriage to Robert Lee Rousey in Immokalee, Fla. The couple made their home in Lake Wales, Fla. Jane was a homemaker, enjoyed crafts, oil painting, spending time with her family and grandchildren and volunteering to care for the elders.
Survivors include her husband, Robert L. Rousey; son, Todd Harold Grove of Glenville; stepchildren: Robin Brittle of Haines City, Fla., Tina Hughes of Florida, Kevin Mizell of Dundee, Fla., and Robbie Rousey of Florida; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers: Rodger (Barbara) Baseman of Glenville, Dennis (Jan) Baseman of Glenville, Lyle (Faye) Baseman of Ely, LeRoy (Alane) Baseman of Glenville and Daryll (Marlene) Baseman of Albert Lea; sisters: Germaine (Dean) Lemkau of Aurora, Neb., and Caroleen Edgar of Brownsdale; many nieces and nephews.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Royal and Dorothy Baseman; daughters: Tonya Jayne Grove and Theresa LuJean Phillips; and brother, Duaine Baseman; and one brother, Robert, in infancy.
