Grace Miller

Grace Theolida Miller, 94 of Austin, died Monday, Oct. 12, 2009, at Praire Manor Care Center in Blooming Prairie.
She was born Dec. 13, 1914, in Moscow, to Albert and Amanda (Gunderson) Gullickson.
Grace attended the Stoa School in Moscow. In 1940 Grace married Ole Miller at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. She worked at Hormel until 1945, when she retired to raise her family. Grace loved to play cards with friends and family. She enjoyed working with flowers and spent hours helping out friends at nursing homes. She loved her church and religion. Grace was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church and also enjoyed her birthday club and travel club.
Grace is preceded in death by her husband Ole; son, Bruce Miller; daughter-in-law, Susan Miller; three brothers and two sisters.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church with The Rev. Glenn Monson officiating. Interment was in Blooming Prairie Cemetery in Blooming Prairie. Visitation was for one hour before the service at the church on Saturday.
Grace is survived by her son, James (Mary) Miller, Austin; daughter-in-law, Vergene Miller, Neenah, Wis.; grandsons: Brett (Debbie) Miller, Trempealeau, Wis., Jed (Kaisa) Miller, Madison, Wis., John Miller, Madison, Wis.; great-grandchildren: Jenessa Miller, Amanda Miller, Sulia Miller, sister, Rose Collier, Monroe, La.; nieces and nephews.
