Peggy Bennett, of the Albert Lea School District, and David Bosma, of Alden-Conger School, are two of 111 candidates for 2012 Minnesota Teacher of the Year.

The Minnesota Teacher of the Year will be announced on May 6. Over the coming weeks a 22-member panel of community leaders will name a group of semifinalists and then finalists.
