Funeral services for Emma Joy Roelofs, 88, formerly of Hollandale, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Hollandale Christian Reformed Church. The Rev. Mark Roelofs will officiate. Interment will be in the Hollandale Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Sunday.
Emma Joy left this earth peacefully on May 13, 2009. 
Emma Joy Roelofs was born on April 29, 1923, to Enno and Verna Krull in Corsica, S.D. She worked 22 years at the Produce State Bank in Hollandale, but will be remembered most as a homemaker that loved her family and had the gifts of hospitality and service to others.
Survivors include her son, James Roelofs; her daughter, Judy Schrock; and her son, John Roelofs; grandchildren include: Jeff, Shane, and Derrick Schrock, Mark Roelofs, Rachel Wind, and Angela, Bradley, Matthew and Nathan Roelofs. There are 17 great-grandchildren. 
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Albert, with whom she spent 54 years; and her grandchildren: Keri Joy Schrock and Daniel James Roelofs.
