Janet Warner, 67

Memorial services for Janet K. Warner will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at the Bonnerup Funeral Service Chapel in Albert Lea. Billy Foster, brother of Janet, will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Friday.
Janet died Saturday evening at her home in Albert Lea. She was 67 years of age.
Janet was born Nov. 30, 1941, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of John and Helen (Rheingans) Ubben. She attended Catholic School in Mason City, Iowa. On Jan. 16, 1977, she was united in marriage to George Warner in Mason City, Iowa.
Janet attended the Pentecostal Church in Albert Lea and had been employed as a nurse’s aide at St. John’s Lutheran Home. She also worked for a short time at Wal-Mart. In her free time, she enjoyed watching the Vikings and the Minnesota Twins. She loved listening to Christian music and the Gaitland Brothers.
Janet is survived by her husband George of Albert Lea; children: John Herman, Ted (Laurie) Herman and Jay Wessels, all of Albert Lea; grandchildren: Zach, Jessica, Janet and Taysha Herman; one great-grandson, Josiah Herman; one brother, Billy (Norma) Foster of Wayzata; niece, Cara (Jarett) Bowen; and nephew, Ed Foster, and his children Danette and Mason. Katy the cat will also miss her.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents; aunt, Enid Rheingans; and uncle, Bill (Alberta) Rheingans.
