Patrick Lunn

Patrick Kevin Lunn, 39, of Austin, died Jan. 23 at Rochester Methodist Hospital after a seven-month battle with melanoma.
Patrick was born April 18, 1969, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to John and Judith (Marsh) Lunn. Patrick was the director of power and water production for Austin Utilities. He was a graduate of Austin High School Class of 1987, a Navy veteran serving on the U.S.S. Carl Vinson and the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln. He graduated from Southwest Minnesota State University, class of 2007, with a business degree. He was a loving husband, son, brother and uncle.
Patrick will be loved and missed by his wife, Karyn Sackis Lunn (McBride); father, John Lunn, Burlington, Iowa; sisters: Cheryl Gordon, St. Charles, Ill., Theresa (Tim) Clancy, Seaside, Calif.; grandmother, Letha Lunn, Fort Madison, Iowa; niece, Anna Gordon; nephews: Patrick Whalen, Zachary Gordon and Nathan Gordon; dogs: Trivia and Strider; and numerous cats.
Patrick was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Lunn; and his brother, Eric Lunn.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Clasen-Jordan Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and for one hour before the service on Wednesday at the Clasen-Jordan Mortuary.
