Isabel D. Anderson, 71
Isabel Delores Anderson, 71, of Austin, died at her home Jan. 20, 2009. 
She was born Aug. 25, 1937 to Jurgen and Sophia “Martha” (Walterman) Stahl in Austin, where she graduated from high school in 1955. She married Henry Wrolson in June of 1955, but they later divorced. She married Duane Kenneth Anderson on Jan. 9, 1959. Isabel worked at a variety of jobs. She spent five and a half years at Weyerhauser and sixteen and a half years at Hormels, retiring in 1995. Isabel and Duane later divorced and he died on Sept. 11, 2002. She had many hobbies, such as refinishing furniture, crafts of any kind, shopping and antiques. She loved going to the casino, out to dinner and spending time with her sister and many friends.
Isabel is survived by her children, Mark (Anita) Wrolson, Austin, JoAnn (Richard) Chinander, Austin, Cheryl Hinrichs, Cleveland, Texas; Merlin (Callie) Anderson, Lyle; Perry (Carol) Anderson, Lakeville; Richard (Jill) Anderson, Austin; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; four step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; sister, Eileen Dietrich, Austin; niece, Pamela Hall; nephews, Larry and John Tapager; two great-nieces and one great-nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; sister, Shirley Stahl and one grandson, Waylon Anderson.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, Jan. 26, 2009 at St. Olaf Lutheran Church with Pastor Ron Barnett officiating. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009 at Worlein Funeral Home in Austin and at the church one hour prior to the service on Monday. Interment is at Oakwood Cemetery, Austin.
