Faith Kampa

Faith Christine Kampa, 3, of Myrtle, died Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 16, 2008, at the Albert Lea Medical Center. She was born Aug. 15, 2005, in Austin, the daughter of Larry James and Shannon Kay (Broitzman) Kampa. Faith was a very happy and vivacious three year old that loved Jesus and she knew that He lived in her heart. She loved to dance, put on make-up and shoes, with flip flops being her footwear of choice. Her eyes danced, as her smile lit up any room. She was everybody’s “little angel.” Faith had a big heart, and she loved on everyone. She attended the Glenville Pre-School in Glenville.
Survivors include her parents, Larry and Shannon Kampa; a brother, Jeremiah “J.J.” Kampa; two sisters: Shania and Emily Kampa, all of Myrtle; maternal grandmother, Sharon Reynen of Orange City, Iowa; maternal grandfather, Rick and Mary Ann Broitzman of Lyle; paternal grandparents, Wayne and Sue Kampa of Jesup, Iowa; maternal great-grandmothers: Violet L. Kycek of Albert Lea, Helen Broitzman of Austin and Henrietta Reynen of Orange City, Iowa; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Bob Reynen “Papa”; maternal great-grandfathers: Leonard W. Kycek and Leaon Baroitzman; great-grandparents, Walter and Clara Chilson; paternal great-grandparents: Lawrence and Lucille Frank and Conrad and Claire Nelson; great grandfather, Ray Kampa.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Cornerstone Assembly of God Church in Austin with the Rev. Rory Synoground, officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Bohemian National Cemetery, rural Myrtle. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday at the Worlein Funeral Home of Austin and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
