Funeral services for Kenneth “Kenny” Paul Burnett of Albert Lea will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Theodore Catholic Church.
Father James Berning and Deacon Mike Ellis will officiate. Interment will be in the St. Theodore Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before service at the church.
Kenny died peacefully Friday, May 23, 2008 at his home in Albert Lea, following a short illness. He was 57 years old.
Kenny was born in St. Peter on July 30, 1950, the son of Melvin and Helen (Plonske) Burnett. Kenny has been a resident of Albert Lea all his life. He graduated from Albert Lea High School. He worked for Ventura Foods for the past 26 years.
Kenny enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting, Harley motorcycles and Corvette automobiles.
Kenny is survived by his parents: Melvin and Helen Burnett of Albert Lea; brothers: Brad (Kris) Burnett of Albert Lea, Ronald (Karen) Burnett of Eden Prairie; sisters: Beverly (Dick) Clausen of Hackensack, Julie Markley of Bloomington; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Kenny was preceded in death by his grandparents: Art Sr. and Jenny Burnett and Oscar and Katherine Heilman; brother David Burnett; brother-in-law Dean Kentner and sister-in-law Diane Burnett.
