Hundreds of children participated in the United Way coloring contest, which ran from October to November. Children were selected from three age groups: 3 to 5 years, 6 to 9 years and 10 to 12 years. They received a free kid’s meal from the participating restaurant, a children’s book, coloring book and various other gifts.
