After leaving the Maid-Rite, she spent several years working for the school district as a lunch room helper at Sibley and Southwest schools.
Harriet was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Lydia Circle and American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends playing various games and cards and having morning coffee with neighbors. One of her favorite memories was the many fishing trips they took up north with friends.
Harriet will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is survived by daughter, Judy Verdoorn (Lowell Olson) of Albert Lea; son, Kenny (Bev) Voshell of Reno, Nev.; grandchildren: Wendy (Craig) Kennelly of Boulder City, Nev., Tami Nielsen (Ken Guski) of Pahrump, Nev., Todd (Susan) Voshell of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Troy Voshell of Denver, Colo.; greatgrandchildren: Ryan, Dylan, Sami, Kobe, Kira, Nikki and Ashley.
