Orlan L. Frazier Jr.

The memorial service for Orlan L. Frazier Jr., of Albert Lea, will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Bonnerup Funeral Service in Albert Lea. The Rev. Erich Hoeft will officiate. Interment will be in Somber Cemetery, in rural Lake Mills.
Orlan died on Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at the Albert Lea Medical Center. He was 64.
He was born on Feb. 13, 1946, in Sonoma, Calif., the son of Betty (Hall) and Orlan L. Frazier Sr. When he was an infant, his family moved to Austin and then to Albert Lea in the early ’50s.
He had worked for Pat’s Mobile Lunch and then in 1976, Orlan moved back to California where he worked in a lawn mower shop.
In 1981 he returned to Albert Lea and worked in Wells and then at Land-O-Lakes/Schweigert.
He married Bonnie Frederick on Dec. 28, 1985, in Owatonna. Orlan was an avid bowler, enjoyed playing cards, watching monster trucks, repairing lawn mowers and in his younger years raced cars.
He will be missed by his family which includes wife, Bonnie, of Albert Lea, daughter Traci Frazier of LaCrosse, Wis., brother Orwin Frazier of Albert Lea, father-in-law and mother-in-law Charles and Janet Frederick of Owatonna, sister-in-law Joan Frederick of Chanhassen, brother-in-law Scott Frederick of York Haven, Pa.; nieces Nicole (Corey) Fuss and children Coralea and Colter of Milnor, N.D., and Karla Frederick of Phoenix, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Dan Frederick.
