Graveside Services for David W. Diemer of Minneapolis, formerly of Albert Lea, will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday at Lakewood Cemetery in Albert Lea. The Rev. Julie M. Fiske will officiate.

David died on Friday, July 30, 2010, at the Augustana Health Care Center in Minneapolis. He was 60.

He was born on December 5, 1949, in Albert Lea, the son of Earl and Genevieve (Tonheim) Diemer.

He graduated with the Albert Lea High School class of 1968.

David had lived in Seattle, Wash., Albert Lea and Minneapolis throughout his life.

He had tended bar at many Albert Lea area businesses and had also worked at Albert Lea Auto Salvage.

He is survived by his sister Karen Swedlow of Oklahoma City, Okla., twinbrother Daniel Diemer and his wife Dawn of Emmons, brother, Paul Diemer and his wife Darlene of Albert Lea, several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents and brother-in-law Howard Swedlow.
