I feel there was a gross miscarriage of justice in the Good Samaritan nursing home abuse case. Recently it was announced almost secretly that Brianna Broitzman and Ashton Larson would not be serving anymore jail time. This was basically a foregone conclusion since they didn’t serve Phase 2.

It seems to me this case was bungled from the very beginning. Just when it looked like Judge Steve Schwab was really doing some was overdue justice in this case, he didn’t go all the way. Strictly, my personal opinion, but I feel at least two-thirds of the sentence would have been much more appropriate than the “slap on the wrist” that they should be thankful for.
