No matter the weather, there are plans to hold a disc golf tournament south of the border on Sunday in Northwood, Iowa.

The first Northwood Ice Bowl is a charity tournament to benefit the Food Bank of Iowa. Three rounds will take place at the nine-hole disc golf course in Swensrud Park.

The entry fee is $10 plus three cans of food. Registration is from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Sunday, with a players’ meeting at 10:15 a.m. Tee off is at 10:30 a.m. After the second round, players will be split into flights based on total score. There will be a raffle, an ace pool and paid mulligans available, too. Trophies will be awarded after the tournament.
