The Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Aerie 2258 Albert Lea Eagles Club recently made a donation to the Albert Lea Cancer Center for the purchase of new lounge chairs for the center’s chemotherapy suite.

The $3,600 donation was from the 2010 Spring Eagles Telethon and the local club.

“The local Eagles club appreciates that state-of-the-art medical facilities are available in Albert Lea and hopes the new chairs will make treatment more comfortable for Cancer Center patients,” said Gary Cunningham, representing the 5th District Eagles Cancer Telethon.
