8 girls cited for shoplifting

Eight teengage girls were cited for shoplifting from Shopko, 2610 Bridge Ave., and Brick Furniture, 225 S. Broadway Ave., on Monday afternoon, police stated.

According to police, three were cited shoplifting jewelry from Brick Furniture and five were reported shoplifting from Shopko.

The teenagers in both instances were brought to the Law Enforcement Center and then turned over to their parents.

 

Items stolen

A Maytag washer and some trailer tires were reported missing from 10788 735th Ave., Glenville, at 1:50 p.m. Thursday, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.

 

Equipment tampered with

Kids were reportedly taking bolts and screws from equipment at 625 W. Main St. at 6:33 p.m. Monday, according to police.
