In the middle of covering tornadoes, thunderstorms, fraud cases, robberies and neighbors helping neighbors, the Tribune news staff found the time to upload some new code from its partners at Parade magazine. Check out the Games web page.
“Sometimes, we all need a break from the news,” said Tribune Managing Editor Tim Engstrom. “Games have long been part of what we offer. The printed newspaper had games such as crossword puzzles and sudoku puzzles. The web allows us to offer all types of fun activities. You got to like that.”
The update Games page has “Bejewled 2,” “Gardenscapes,” “Empress of the Deep,” “Real Detectives: Murder” and “Mystery P.I.: The London Caper,” among other titles. Kids might like “Kai-Lan’s Great Trip to China,” “Strimko,” “Dora’s Carnival 2: Boardwalk Adventure” and “Barnyard Sherlock,” among other titles.
“Frankly, I think ‘Mall-A-Palooza’ looks to be my favorite of the bunch. It’s kind of like ‘Sim City’ but instead of being mayor your job is to transform empty shopping malls into bustling shopping centers,” Engstrom said.
