Car hits tree, three injured

HOLLANDALE — Kevin J. Bergstrom, 22, Hollandale, received non-lifethreatening injuries when the 1998 Cadillac DeVille he was driving left State Highway 251 two miles west of Hollandale and struck a tree at 2:05 p.m. Saturday.
A report by the Minnesota State Patrol said there were three juveniles in the vehicle and two were listed as being injured.
The patrol was assisted at the crash scene by the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.
Child cut by glass
ALDEN — A report from the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office said a 5-year-old child fell through or into a cabinet with a glass front at 11:26 p.m. Sunday at a rural residence northeast of Alden. The report added that the child was cut in the throat by a shard of glass. The child was transported by Mayo One, the report added.
