Mission Study Day, sponsored by Church Women United, will be held on Friday at Salem Lutheran Church in Albert Lea. Registration and coffee will begin at 9:15 a.m. The theme for the day is “Living the Challenge: Differently Enabled, Uniquely Called.” The gathering is especially to honor the lives of people with disabilities, their family members and others who have helped in improving their lives. Featured speakers will be E. Libby Seifert, president of the local SPIRE program in Albert Lea, and Juana Raatz, who is in charge of public relations for the program.
