A few weeks ago my husband and I attended the open house at the Freeborn County Humane Society. We were very impressed with the new addition financed entirely by private donations. What impressed us most was the day to day operation done solely by volunteers with one director paid by the Humane Society. Currently they depend only on contributions from private citizens and local businesses. All animals are treated with compassionate care. You might want to consider making a donation on giving a memorial for the loss of a loved one. It would be much appreciated.
