I would like to thank the firefighters from the Albert Lea, Albert Lea Township, Alden, Conger, Glenville, Manchester and Clarks Grove departments for the excellent job that was done in fighting the grass fire on the south end of Albert Lea.

Because of your great work in controlling the fire no homes where damage or destroyed and no one was injured. Thank you for your dedication to the safety of the citizens of Freeborn County.
