FRIDLEY — Totino-Grace High School has given the all-clear after a mercury spill prompted a student evacuation at the Fridley parochial school.

School administrators were told the building was safe at 3:30 p.m. Friday.

The school was evacuated at 11:45 a.m. after mercury from a thermometer was found on a classroom floor. School normally ends at 1:50 p.m., but students were told to remain on campus in case chemicals were found on their shoes.
