Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Steven Lee Kroupa for second-degree driving while intoxicated, second-degree test refusal, no proof of insurance and speeding after a traffic stop at 1:39 a.m. today near the intersection of U.S. Highway 69 and Freeborn County Road 9, according to reports.

 

Machine tampered with

Someone reportedly tried to drill into a Coke machine at 810 Happy Trails Lane during the night Tuesday. The incident was reported at 10:51 a.m. Wednesday. Damage was estimated at $200.

 

Theft reported

Employee theft was reported at Shopko, 2610 Bridge Ave. at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday. About $290 in items was reported taken.

 

Prescription fraud reported

Prescription fraud was reported at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave., at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday. No other information was available as of press time.
