Police arrested Justin Jerad Herrera, 29, for second-degree driving while intoxicated, driving after suspension and possession of a small amount of marijuana after a traffic stop at 2:17 a.m. today near the intersection of East Third Street and Frank Avenue, according to reports.

 

Window broken out of house

Police responded to a house on College Street early this morning after dispatchers received a call of a window being broken out by a gun shot.

According to reports, a window in the front of 327 W. College St. was broken out. Police determined it was not broken out by a gun shot but by some other blunt object such as a rock.

Reports indicated neighbors saw a white truck that had been driving back and forth in the area.

 

House broken into

A residence at 1020 St. John Ave. was reported broken into at 12:48 p.m. Wednesday, according to police. Movies, games and an Xbox were taken.

 

Vehicle broken into

A vehicle was reported broken into at 7:51 p.m. Wednesday at 624 W. Clark St., according to police. A CD player was stolen.

 

Items missing from arena

Items were reported missing from City Arena, 701 Lake Chapeau Drive, at 8 a.m. Wednesday, according to police. The arena has been broken into at least two other times in the last three weeks.
