Police question 3 for damages

Numerous windows were reported shot out of vehicles, a business and two homes on Monday.

Albert Lea Police Chief Dwaine Winkels said police are interviewing three juvenile suspects regarding the reported damages thanks to witnesses who called in descriptions to police.

No one has been arrested yet.

Winkels said it is unknown whether all of the damages are related to the same suspects; however, it is likely.

Reported damages include the following:

  • Criminal damage to a vehicle at 305 E. Fifth St.
  • Criminal damage to a vehicle at 616 James Ave.
  • Three windows and a door shot out with a BB gun at Sanderson Auto, 131 W. College St.
  • Criminal damage to a vehicle at 515 S. Washington Ave.
  • Window smashed out of a car at 521 Euclid Ave.
  • Window shot out of a house at 1121 Madison Ave.
  • BB shot through a picture window at 1117 Madison Ave.
  • Passenger side window broken out of a red Chevy Colbat at 310 W. College St.

The incidents are still under investigation.

Vehicle reported stolen, still missing

A 1979 brown Buick two-door automobile was reported stolen from Ventura Foods, 919 E. 14th St., at 6:54 p.m. Monday. The car’s owner stated it was stolen around 2 p.m. It has not yet been found.
