The congregation of Iglesia Pentecostal Unida in Albert Lea welcomed the Rev. Eliazar M. Talamantes as its new pastor.

Talamantes is an ordained minister with the United Pentecostal Church International and has been a pastor with the organization for 26 years. Talamantes continues the Spanish work his late brother, Job Talamantes, began in Albert Lea, who passed away on July 21, 2011.

Talamantes and his wife, Mary, invite all to the Spanish-speaking to worship with the congregation at 918 S. Broadway Ave. on Sunday afternoon. The worship service begins at 1 p.m. and Sunday school starts at 1:30. English interpretation can be made available.
