The Harmony Junction Holiday Chorus will perform two shows on Sunday to benefit local food shelves.

The group will give a concert at 3 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church and at 7 p.m. at St. Theodore Catholic Church. There is no charge to attending, but offerings will be taken to benefit the Salvation Army Food Shelf and the Ecumenical Food Pantry at First Presbyterian Church.

“It’s going to be a traditional, old-fashioned approach to Christmas,” said member Jim Broberg.

About 25 singers will be on stage singing such classics as “Christmas Is Coming,” “Joy to the World,” “It Came Upon A Midnight Clear,” “Silent Night,” “Jingle Bells,” “Angels We Have Heard on High,” “Let All Mortal Flesh,” “Lo How A Rose,” “Coventry Carol,” “It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas,” “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” and “Away in a Manger.”

A quartet and soloist will also perform.

The Fountain Street Brass will also perform during the concert.

The group is under the direction of Ken Kiehne of Harmony.

“We hope to have people come out and support the food shelves,” said Broberg, adding there’s a big need this year.
