The staff at Expressions Salon & Spa — Jackie Abrego, Kristin Larson, Cheryl Dreyling, Mary Mickelson, Cali Christenson and Stephine Seipp — attended Elevations 2010 on Sept. 26 and 27 in Coraville, Iowa.

The staff attended Design Hands which was a hands-on workshop for the new looks for fall 2010.

The stylists also attended Color Hands-On, which released new ideas in creative color placement, exploring color, reinventing applications and new color patterns.

Released was the new color melting technique.

The class was taught by two of Redkens leading artists, Julie Hoffman and Patrick Fitzwater.

The third hands-on class was Foil in Color. This advance foil class was attended by Kristin Larson, Mary Mickelson, Stephine Seipp and Jackie Abrego.

This class incorporated several highlighting techniques: the new pedal spray and the scoop. These techniques are used on celebrities and famous models.

These new techniques offer low maintenance, versatile and dimensional colors, which delivers a natural look with beautiful flow and shine.
