The 24th annual Rendezvous print was unveiled at the Big Island Rendezvous and Festival this weekend at Bancroft Bay Park.
The print by artist, Eloise Adams, featured Olle Olson, the Norwegian Immigrant. Other performers depicted are the shoemaker, the trapper, a mountain man, Hannibal — a vendor and “The Digger” — a grave digger protrayed by Steve Hanson of Albert Lea.
The prints are numbered and signed. A limited number of 150 are hand-painted.
The prints are a fundraiser for the two student days. Over 3,500 young people from area schools attended the Rendezvous on Thursday and Friday and got a first-hand history lesson.
After the Rendezvous the prints may be purchased at Adams Originals Shop in downtown Albert Lea.
“It is a thrill for me to know the prints are helping fund the two educational days at the Rendezvous,” said Eloise Adams.
