Dr. John Enger, Liz Enger, RN, Peggy Benson, PMAC, ACRRT, Michelle Sanderson, PMAC and Rebecca Zuniga, PMAC attended the Midwest Podiatry Conference in Chicago April 19-22.

Sanderson and Zuniga tested for the American Society of Podiatric Medical Assistants examination, and are now certified podiatric medical assistants.

Attending the conference entitles the participants to receive continuing education credits.

Topics discussed were: the diabetic foot, peripheral artery disease, wound care, perioperative management, electronic health records, and surgical procedures including the foot, ankle, and leg as well as diseases of the skin.
