The Northwood-Kensett Vikings lost three close sets Monday to Mason City Neman Catholic in a 3-0 loss (25-21, 26-28).

Courtney Eilertson led the Vikings, going 30-for-34 hitting with 14 kills, and 7-for-7 serving with 10 digs.

Britney Low had 18 hits with eight kills, and went 7-for-7 serving with an ace, 11 digs and three blocks.

Mary Bjorkland went 11-for-12 hitting with three kills, and 8-for-8 serving with an ace and 10 digs.

The Vikings play again Thursday.
