School districts closing for weather

As the winter storm moves into the area, several local school districts have announced they will close their doors early.
So far, the Lake Mills, Northwood-Kensett, United South Central and Alden-Conger school districts will dismiss early.
The Lake Mills School District will dismiss at 1:15 p.m.
At Northwood-Kensett, the elementary schools will dismiss at 12:50 p.m., and the high school will dismiss at 1 p.m. There will be no practices or evening activities.
The United South Central School District will dismiss at 2 p.m.
The Alden-Conger School District will dismiss at 2 p.m. Alden-Conger Superintendent Joe Guanella said this will allow buses to get back before dark.
New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva School District has canceled all after-school activities.
