Choir members announced

Albert Lea High School choral director, Diane Heaney, is pleased to announce this year’s ALHS ‘CAT’aclysmic Show Choir members. They are:
Soprano: Taylor Peek, Emily Stoneking, Alexa McCune, Courtney Stewart, Ashley Tewes, April Bettin, Ally Maiers, Stacia Lebeck, Brooke Thompson, Lani Hanson, Macy Paul and Morgan Ciota.
Alto: Ashley Petersen, Jessica Sanderson, Sam Heilman, Michelle Hartmann, Galen Schulz Cierra Edson, Colleen Thompson, Mollie Hernandez, Maranda Glassel, Erin Everhard, Chelsea Petersen, Claire Buendorf, Morgan Field and Sam Stanley.
Tenor: Will Waggoner, Kyle Zogg, John Buringa, Matt Attig, Sergio Salgado, Zach Wilke, Jordan Vano, Carter Dahl, Tate Tufte, Logan Tufte and Erick Anderson.
Bass: Corbin Schultz, Nick Bera, Riley Ruble, Tanner Shaft, Andy Ehrhardt, Duncan Kromminga, Matthew Bera, Matthew Buhr, Nick Walther, Grady Ruble, Seth Tovar and James Young.
The group was chosen by audition from more than 100 students and rehearses regularly on Tuesday and Friday mornings and will be available for local performances in the winter and spring. They will be accompanied by a full instrumental group made up of Kelsey Thomas, Ray Stephenson, Tim Stoneking, Cierra Maras, Alex Neilson, Kayla Swee, Alison Sipple, Chris Wenniger and Jon Kreun.
Also chosen was the women’s show choir, The SASS. Those members are:
Emma Behling, Alayna Chavez, Mady Dahl, Jane Daoheuang, Hannah DeVries, Claire Ellis, Lindsay Freitag, Meghan Gardner, Larissa Hacker, Hannah Hertling, Ashley Holl, Marleny Huerta-Apanco, Kelly Kaasa, Hannah Keithley, Rachel Kenis, Karli Kriewall, Kelsey Lenhart, Lindsay Louters, Suzie Marin, Kayla Moen, Chrissy Monson, Devon Mullenbach, Erin Murtaugh, Ella Otten, Natalie Peek, Laura Piper, Abby Pleiss, Holly Raben, Kelli Sanderson, Sarah Sanderson, Sarah Savelkoul, Haley Schroeder, Brianna See-Rockers, Cammy Tewes, Linzee Underdahl, Jessica Vano, Robin Viktora, Brittney Whitten and Katie Williamson.
They will rehearse on Wednesday mornings beginning the first of November. All the show choir students and their parents will host a competition in Albert Lea this spring on March, 26, 2011.
