May your hearts be filled with joy and thankfulness during this special time of the holiday season. There are many events scheduled for your enjoyment and pleasure!

Special holiday musical performances by the Albert Lea High School choirs, choral and caroliers warms our hearts as we listen to these talented young men and ladies.

The Lighthouse presents “The Music of Mannheim Steamroller” Dec. 10-12. Bluegrass & Country Music Jam on Dec. 17 at the Northbridge Mall.

The Kiwanis presents its annual “Christmas in the City” on Dec. 18 and 20 at the Marion Ross Performing Arts Center.

Harmony Junction Chorus will perform on Dec. 20 at Grace Lutheran and St. Theodore churches.

Welcome visitors to the A PeeWee hockey and girls’ basketball tournaments in Albert Lea on Dec. 11-13.

Albert Lea Thunder will play Bismarck and Owatonna at the City Arena on Dec. 12 and Dec. 19.

A Candy Cane Hunt will be held at the Fairlane Building on Dec. 20 and will include a visit from Santa!

The Albert Lea Farmers Market in the Northbridge Mall on Wednesdays continues to bring you fresh produce, jams, jellies, meats and bake goods.

The annual Festival of Trees at the Albert Lea Art Center presents beautifully decorated trees for your enjoyment. The gallery is filled with trees decorated by local organizations businesses and individuals along with wreaths designed by local artists.
