Tuttle, West Fork beat Bulldogs

After a win last week against Nashua-Plainfield, the Lake Mills football hit the road Friday as they took on West Fork.
After using two Tyler Rice touchdowns to give Lake Mills a 14-7 lead after the first quarter, West Fork scored 25 points over the final three quarters to defeat Lake Mills 32-22.
West Fork’s Seth Tuttle threw three touchdown passes, and the West Fork defense forced two Bulldog turnovers.
Tyler Rice had two of Lake Mills touchdowns, while quarterback Royce Byrnes also rushed in a touchdown.
Rice led the Bulldogs in rushing with 21 attempts for 91 yards and two touchdowns, while Royce Byrnes had 15 attempts for 60 rushing yards and a touchdown.
Byrnes also went 5-of-10 with 81 passing yards.
Alex Grunhovd led Lake Mills as he hauled in two catches for 47 yards.
The Bulldogs are back in action next Friday as they host Aplington-Parkersburg.
