Floyd Wombold, 77, Albuquerque, N.M.

Floyd L. “Lee” Wombold Jr. died of natural causes unexpectedly at his home in Albuquerque, N.M., on Oct. 6, 2010. He was 67 years old.
Born to Floyd Sr. and Judith Wombold on Jan. 1, 1943, in Barberton, Ohio. He attended Barberton Public Schools, graduating from Barberton High in 1961.
He was a gifted artist, and he attended Akron University before transferring to Bowling Green State University in Ohio, where he earned a BFA degree.
Following graduation, he worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone and pursued his master of fine arts degree at the University of Arizona. He was later self employed in his company, Cyclops Display Studios, designing and building displays for major trade shows.
He is survived by his father, Floyd Sr. of Albert Lea; his sister of Monument, Colo.; several nieces, nephews and grandnieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and aunt.
