The Wa-tan-ye met on Oct. 4. The meeting was called to order by the President Dorothy Wedge. Roll call was taken and the group was happy to see one of its members back after spending the summer up in northern Minnesota.

The minutes were read and approved. Treasurer’s report was given and placed on file.

The donation to the library fund for the district will be taken from the sale of dishcloths from last summer.

There was a vote in favor to change the district president’s term to two years instead of one year. The delegates will vote at the annual convention. The convention will be held on Oct. 8-10, 2010, at Fort Dodge, Iowa.

This being the end of Wa-tan-ye year, the annual reports were given and placed on file. Installation of new officers will be at the next meeting on Nov. 1.

The hostess for the meeting was JoAnn Holstad.
