Wedding: Rebelein – Kirkholm

Catie Rebelein and Eric Kirkholm of Trent, S.D., was married on Aug. 14, 2010, at 2 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Larchwood, Iowa. The Friar Jeff Schleisman performed the ceremony. The bride was given away by her father in the double ring ceremony.
The bride’s parents are Curt and Cathy Rebelein of Albert Lea.
The groom’s parents are Grant and Colleen Kirkholm of Inwood, Iowa.
The bride is the grand-daughter of Fran Blakestad and the late Roger Blakestad of Albert Lea.
The wedding dress was a strapless a-line accented with royal blue trim and hand-sewn sequins and beads. The head piece worn was a jeweled tiara with a chapel length veil.
Flowers were made by the bride and were hand-beaded in silver and royal blue.
Maid of honor was Trisha Ihrke, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Catelyn Kirkholm, sister of the groom, Sheena Blakestad, cousin of the bride, Kala Rebelein, sister-in-law of bride, and Becky Beinhorn cousin of bride.
Bridesmaids wore royal blue strapless long, a-line dresses.
Flower girls were Makayla Ackerman, friend of the couple, and Mikayla Kuyper, god child, niece of bride. They wore matching white long dresses with royal blue trim, embroidery and beading to match the brides gown. They carried baskets of beaded royal blue and silver flowers made by the bride.
Personal attendent was Kelsha Ackerman, friend of the couple.
The groom wore a black tux with silver vest and royal blue tie.
Best man was Corey Doherty, cousin of the groom.
Groomsmen were Tony Chamley, friend of the couple, Perry Doherty, cousin of the groom, Chris Rebelein, brother of the bride and Joe Ackerman, friend of the couple, and were attired in black tuxes, silver vests and royal blue ties.
Ring bearer was Chase Rebelein, god child of the couple, nephew of the bride, and was attired in black shorts and tuxedo shirt.
Ushers were Jay Martin and Joe Frieden, friends of the groom.
Alter was decorated with vases of long-stemmed white roses. The organist was Tina Simons. Soloist was Lacy Rowe, friend of the bride. She sang “God Bless this Broken Road.” Photographer was Peobles Photography, Albert Lea. Reception and dance was at Tailgaters in Brandon, S.D. A honeymoon was in Cancun.
