Three injured in crash

Three people were injured Sunday evening after the vehicle they were riding in lost control, went into a ditch and overturned on State Highway 251.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Jacob R. Miranda, 20, of Albert Lea, a passenger of the vehicle, received minor injuries in the crash at 7:16 p.m. Sunday.
Patricia Fleming, 22, of Albert Lea, the driver of the vehicle, and passenger Daniel C. Parmenter, 22, also of Albert Lea, were treated for injuries and released.
According to the State Patrol, the vehicle, a 2005 Pontiac Bonneville, was slowing down to avoid hitting another vehicle when it went off the road and overturned.
The road conditions were wet at the time of the crash.
The vehicle occupants were treated at Albert Lea Medical Center.
The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
