Damage done is jaw-dropping

Using the words of David Larson, “What President Obama has been able to accomplish in his short time in office has been jaw-dropping.”

Indeed! The damage this administration has caused in such a short amount of time has been nothing less than jaw-dropping!

He has increased our national debt by $2.6 trillion. President Obama has racked up more debt than all other presidents combined, in just a few short months! Our current national debt is $13.3 trillion and climbing every second.

And we have health care reform which currently more than 55 percent of Americans oppose, some polls show even higher numbers are in opposition. It’s not that we’re against reform; we’re against a complete takeover! No one can tell what the affects of this bill will be, however, minimally by 2016 premiums for individual polices will be 10 to 13 percent higher, as will deductables.

And we are living the effects of the failed stimulus bill. As if Oct. 18 new claims for unemployment rose to a higher than expected 459,000. The current unemployment rate is at 10 percent, yet much higher when including those that have stopped looking for work or have taken part-time jobs. The unemployment rate has doubled since 2007. The unemployment rate in the U.S. from 1948 to 2010 averaged 5.7 percent.

Obama is disconnected and fully insensitive to the plight of Americans. Currently as stated we are at 10 percent unemployment, 20 percent underemployment, one in seven in poverty, the most people ever depending on food stamps and Medicaid.

Let’s not forget about taxation and “spreading the wealth”; the reality, when you attack employers and those with high incomes, the consequences are not limited to those who are taxed, but reverberate throughout the entire economy.

As David Larson stated, “I’ve been particularly observant of momentum toward conservativism.” That’s because the reality is most of us are living with the results of Obama’s failed policies. I agree with Larson that we need to commit to voting at the “polls with reason and thoughtfulness,” instead of “fear and hype.” Just remember how we were fooled in 2008 into believing in “hope and change,” which has clearly turned out to be hoax and chains.
