On Friday, Nov. 5, United Methodist Church Women will host Church Women United. The theme for this year’s World Community Day is “Building the Beloved Community.” There will be refreshments beginning at 9:15 a.m. in the Fireside room. The program will begin at 10 a.m. All area women are invited. This year’s program honors the challenge left to us by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. It is based upon the goal of promoting dignity, safety and economic opportunities for all people.
