Pedestrian hit by car

A 64-year-old Albert Lea man was reportedly hit by a car while crossing the street this morning at the intersection of Front Street and Broadway Avenue. According to police, Henry Carlson, 56, of Albert Lea, was westbound on Front Street when he turned southbound on Broadway Avenue and hit James Carlson who was walking westbound in the crosswalk.
The pedestrian was treated at Albert Lea Medical Center for injuries.
One injured in crash
An injury traffic crash was reported near the intersection of East Main Street and Prospect Avenue at 7 a.m. Tuesday. According to police, Jay Charles Crabtree, was driving eastbound on Main Street when Tara Lorene Wels pulled out in front him near Prospect Avenue. Crabtree, an Albert Lea police officer, was off duty at the time of the crash.
Semi rollover reported
A semi rollover was reported at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday during the switchover from eastbound Interstate 90 to northbound Interstate 35. No other information was available as of press time.
