Here are highlights in history for Nov. 26, gleaned from the files of the Albert Lea Tribune:
1985 — Tom and Jerry’s would be the featured entree at six of the clubs in Albert Lea on Thanksgiving Day.
1975 — Area school closings due to inclement weather would be determined by 7:15 a.m., then announced on Radio Stations KATE and WCCO.
1965 — A false bomb scare based on a telephone call resulted in guests at the Hotel Albert being told to leave the building for a short time.
