Hy-Vee had a rose selling promotion recently. Ashley Hovendick, a floral designer at Hy-Vee in Albert Lea had the idea to ask people to buy roses that were delivered to local nursing homes, including St. John’s Lutheran Home, Good Samaritan Society, Thorne Crest Retirement Community and Oak Park Place.
